Red Sangria with Fresh Seasonal Fruit
Servings: 6 glasses

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle fruity red wine Grenache, Rioja, Pinot Noir
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1-2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 orange thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon thinly sliced
  • 1 heaping cup seasonal fruit of choice cut into cubes
  • ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  • In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, brandy and maple syrup. Add slices of orange, lemon and a medley of seasonal fruit, then stir gently to bring the flavors together. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight, for the most depth, before serving over ice for a chilled, refreshing drink.
