Smoked Whitefish Salad

Ingredients

  • 1/2-1 pound smoked white fish de-boned and skin removed
  • 5-6 tablespoons creme fraiche or to taste
  • 2-3 tablespoons fresh chives finely chopped
  • Zest of one lemon
  • Juice of one lemon or to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  • Purchase the white fish already smoked and remove any remaining bones. Shred the fish into small pieces. Add the crème fraîche and gently mix it with a fork. Add the lemon zest and lemon juice and taste. Mix in the chopped chives. Season to taste with pepper and a pinch of sea salt.
