Grilled Peaches

The late summer peaches are sweet, juicy and just perfect to eat, but also great for grilling. After cutting the peaches in half and removing the pit, coat the peaches lightly with olive oil. Grill the peaches cut side down in a grill pan or outdoor grill, for about 3-4 minutes. When you see distinct grill marks and the natural sugars start to caramelize, the peaches are ready. Serve these sweet peaches with a scoop of your favorite ice cream. Simple and delicious!

Servings: 6 halves

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe peaches halved and pitted
  • extra-virgin olive oil
  • Favorite ice cream

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the grill or a grill pan to medium high heat. Brush or rub the peach halves with olive oil. Grill the peach halves cut side down until grill marks form or they're lightly charred, about 3-4 minutes. Serve the warm grilled peaches with your favorite ice cream.
