For the last few years, I’ve posted a cocktail recipe in preparation for the holidays. This year my friend and cocktail-mixing expert, Katherine Steiger, wrote a guest post for my blog. Enjoy the holiday season!
Every year for Thanksgiving I make a very elaborate cocktail with multiple steps and a long list of ingredients. That’s a great tradition for November, where everything is a sprint to the one day main event. The December holidays are more of a marathon, with multiple parties, family events and other commitments. For that reason, I turn to a simpler cocktail for Christmas. This is practically a health tonic!

Ingredients
- 3 ounces prosecco well-chilled
- 3 ounces pure pomegranate juice
- Lime twist for garnish
Servings: cocktail
Instructions
- Combine prosecco and pomegranate juice in a champagne flute. Garnish with a twist of lime. Source - New York Times.
