With the holidays around the corner and the assortment of tempting foods, I thought a simple, lightly sweetened citrus recipe could be a perfect alternative. We’re on the cusp of the citrus season, so try experimenting with the wide variety of oranges, tangerines and grapefruit. Serve these lightly caramelized slices and their accumulated juices over your favorite yogurt with sprigs of fresh mint for a scrumptious dessert. If you find yourself not wanting to heat the broiler, toss the fresh oranges slices with honey and ground cinnamon, let them sit for about 15 minutes at room temperature and serve.

Instructions
- Pre-heat the broiler. Cut the tops and bottoms off of the oranges, standing the oranges on their flat surface. Cut down the sides, removing the skin from the oranges and the white pith as well. Cut the skinned oranges into one inch thick slices, cross-wise.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil and use the non-stick cooking spray to coat. Sprinkle the citrus slices with the honey or sugar. Place the pan under the broiler for 5-10 minutes or until the sugar caramelizes. Top the yogurt with the orange slices, some of the citrus juice and the fresh mint leaves.
